Relative price is indexed to NVR-2000 at equal area, FOB Ningbo. The 42% step from Type II to Type IV buys 2.6× the RA — the steepest value curve in the range. The step from Type IV to Type VIII costs another 36% for 1.9× the brightness and better angularity.
Where NVR-4200 is the right answer.
Shoulder-mounted highway signs, work-zone drums and barricades, truck conspicuity panels, and any sign read at under 60° off-axis. It is the volume grade for a reason.
